Wood fireplaces

A fireplace that has grown to give you more!

J. A. ROBY, a place where the environment is a question of respect and it has become our priority. All of our wood stoves and our fireplace have been tested and certified according to the very strict norm EPA and therefore offer a clean combustion. Faithful to its reputation as a leader in the industry, J. A. ROBY has designed the EVOLUTION fireplace in order to adequately respond to its client’s request. Consequently, the EVOLUTION fireplace possesses three different heating distribution systems.

The first system uses the air exit on the top left side of the appliance and works by suction with a blower of 460CFM and a one way valve. It is an air conduct system that can be directed toward floors below or directed toward adjacent room or even toward many rooms as needed and it is controlled by a reversed wall thermostat. When the temperature of the room where the appliance is installed has reached the desired degree, the heat begins to move towards the other rooms.

The second system works by natural convection and the air exit is on the top right side of the appliance and it comes with a decorative grille: that natural convection system can distribute the air towards floors above or to adjacent rooms without a blower (works by gravity).

The third system uses two fans, controlled by a thermodisc, that help the air to circulate from the grille below toward the top grille. The distinctive feature that is exclusive to J. A. ROBY’s EVOLUTION and the EVOLUTION 2113 fireplace is that these appliances get the air supply directly from the top of the appliance, where the air is very hot and therefore its effectiveness is increased significantly; a not inconsiderable advantage if we compare it to what is offered presently on the competitive market.
